Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru and a mixed martial arts athlete fighting for in the UFC for the Flyweight Division. She is in Kyrgyzstani. Valentina Shevchenko, who is a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC other fighter, is her younger sister. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as a Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the event and beat Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after taking home bronze and silver medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, as well as a Gold medal in the year 2011, as well as the 2015 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia started her professional career in 2003, and she was the winner of the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina's last fight was at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The fight was won by unanimity. Antonina Shychenko's first professional MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in which she fought Anara Bayanova. She won this fight with a TKO at the end of round two and her following two matches were staged during the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko took a hiatus to concentrate on boxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko was victorious against Anissa Haddaoui by a unanimous decision. She then beat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, in the same decision. She quit the club in 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina showed off her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera with knees. Antonina took an UFC invitation following her win. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut during the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale in a fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi by an unanimous decision. However, she then lost her subsequent fight due to a split verdict. Antonina was able to bounce back from losing and defeated Lucie Puddilova in UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The fight was awarded Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko had a win in her first three fights but then lost the fights to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
